A LOVE ADVENTURE!

I was introduced to Carlos by a family member in 2007 and it has been a true adventure since then!

What started as a friendship soon evolved into what is now a story of unconditional love and perseverance, after many tears, hardships and challenges.

In 2012, Carlos and I decided to officially date, we married in 2015 and by the grace of God, in April we will be celebrating our eight year wedding anniversary! Life has not been easy but it has definitely been an adventure!

Being by Carlos’s side through the ups and downs has been humbling and edifying in more ways than one. Carlos has been a true inspiration and example of resilience, endurance, second chances and overcoming obstacles in life. Through it all, love has been the glue keeping us united and grounded in family values, morals and convictions.

As husband and wife, Carlos and I have had to face giants, battle broken systems over and over and even endure physical separation due to uncontrollable situations but through it all, we have been able to keep the flame in our relationship lit and our love has always overcome!

I can genuinely say that my life is anything but boring! The rain has poured, the winds have blown, and storms have caused us to shipwreck, but God has always been our unbreakable anchor.

We have shared many lived experiences in such a short time, learned many lessons, and encountered many good people along the journey. All of it is life, “our” life! Of course, this is not what we expected when we initially boarded the ship and set sail but the beauty of it all has been being able to sail together. Carlos’s humble heart, passion for life, willingness to help others and make a positive difference, has truly made this journey worthwhile! It has been–and is–truly an adventure!
